Purchasing & Materials Manager

Your new role

As a Purchasing & Materials Manager at Eisai’s centre of excellence manufacturing & packaging site in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, you will be responsible for management of materials across the lifecycle including management of relationships with external suppliers; raising & management of SAP documentation / logs and BOMs as well as collaborating with supply chain on planning & supply.

The role will see you working closely with internal colleagues across Supply Chain, Warehouse & Logistics, Finance and Quality, Compliance, Legal and Business Effectiveness as well as liaising regularly with external vendors.

What are we looking for?

You will have a qualification in Science, Economics or a relevant discipline (or equivalent) and a demonstrated background in purchasing and materials management or related function gained within a Pharmaceutical industry or another highly regulated manufacturing environment (e.g. Food, Aerospace etc.).

You should also have proven strong SAP experience; the ability to leverage and analyse complex ERP/MRP data to enable effective decision making and be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships and communication links within internal stakeholders & external vendors.
